I am now using iBank and iBiz which are both made by IGG Software so some similarities exist in the look and feel, but they do not reconcile each other which for me is a very good thing. I have tried more invoice and banking apps than I care to admit so I really do know how frustrating it is. (LOL, some of us are quite satisfied as Hobbyists. This shrinking market / need for Mac or any other consumers to need their Quicken software, could be behind the reason for Quicken to now, attempt to again trick Mac Users into their grips - well, it isn't going to work with me, I'll never purchase Quicken Banking Software again and, like I said in another post - this attempt by Quicken, for me, is too little, to late.īRJR. Quicken and other financial software companies are aware that Banks, Credit Unions, Card Services like American Express, with their online services and mobile apps, are more and more 'eating their lunch', and making them unnecessary and pretty much obsolete now days. But, my bank now offers a free mobile app, that combined with their online account services, has pretty much made software such as Quicken or any such software less useful / needed for my financial needs.
And, when I gave Quicken 2007 the boot, and vowed to never use quicken banking software again, it was iBank that I converted my Quicken Mac accounts to, for use as I need to.
